Mitab and Örsjö at Designjunction

Mitab and Örsjö joined forces once again for designjunction in the Old Sorting Office, part of London Design Festival. Their second LDF collaboration, the focus was on their respective 2013 product launches with a sprinkle of older pieces never previously shown in the UK.

Mitab used the occasion to launch the Cumulus Pouff by Jonas Wagell. The Cumulus sofa was launched in 2012, designed for contract areas but designed to look as inviting as a domestic sofa, the new pouffs can be used with the sofa or on their own.

The new Mute high back sofa was launched at the Stockholm Fair in February this year and is already a best seller. Judging by how popular it was at designjunction, it’s not hard to see why.

Shown for the first time in the UK was We Get Along, the award winning Bauhaus inspired chair my Marius Myking Bjørnsen, in classic leather and chrome.

Örsjö presented the new Star lights by Jonas Bohlin and Vinge by Note Design Studio. Copper and brass are huge trends right now, so Örsjö took the opportunity to show Minipoint floor light in brass for the first time.
