Mid Year Design Report 2022.

Our annual Mid Year Design Report is always an important moment to collectively sit down as a studio and assess the last six months. This was even more important this year, as the start of 2022 saw us come out of two years of rolling lockdowns and reenter the world of in-person product launches, exhibitions and events.

The result has been a heady mix of exciting projects by Relay, including our collaboration with Browns Fashion for London Fashion Week and the refurbishment of our Shoreditch studio. Our brands have also initiated astonishing activities including two exhibitions at the Design Museum plus new showrooms and international pop-ups. Plus the return of international trade fairs which was kicked off by Clerkenwell Design Week in May, and was quickly followed by Milan Design Week and 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen.
